Rava Idly/ரவை இட்லி
Ingredients Rava – 1 cup Curd – 1/2 cup Water – 1/2 cup Salt – as needed Eno – 1 tsp For seasoning Oil – 1 tbsp Mustard seeds – 1 tsp Split black gram / urad dal – 2 tsp Gram dal – 2 tsp Ginger (finely chopped) – 1 tsp Green chili(finely chopped) – 1 tsp Method Heat oil in a kadai,add the mustard seeds after it splutters add the ingredients given under For seasoning. Then add the rava and roast without changing the color until the raw smell goes off. After cooling add the curd, water and salt. Mix well. Let it soak it for 20 to 25 minutes. Then add the eno fruit salt and add some water and mix well. It should be like idly batter consistency. Add water accordingly. Then pour the batter in idly plates and cook it for 10 minutes.
