Koozh Vathal / роХூро┤் ро╡род்родро▓் Ingredients Raw rice – 1 cup Jeera – 1 to 2 tsp Green chilli – 2 to 3 (optional) Salt – as needed Koozh Vathal / роХூро┤் ро╡род்родро▓் Method Soak the rice for 3 to 4 hours. Then add the rice and salt (and green chilli if using) in mixie jar, add water and grind it to smooth paste in watery consistency. Leave it overnight. In a thick bottom vessel (like cooker) add 4 to 5 cups of water and allow it boil. Add jeera and the ground paste to it. Stir it constantly in a medium flame till it becomes thick and glossy yet in pouring consistency. It may take around 15 to 20 mins. Switch off and allow it to cool. Then spread a cotton cloth under the sunlight. Take a spoon full of batter and pour it in cloth. Repeat the same for remaining batter. Let it dry in sunlight for 2 to 3 days.
