Ingredients
Ragi seeds-1 cup
Method
Wash the ragi seeds 3 to 4 times in water. Wash well by rubbing the ragi with your hands. It may contain lot of mud.
Soak it covered for 6 to 7 hours.
Then strain the water completely.
Take the ragi in clean white cloth and tie it. Leave it for 8 to 10 hours for sprouting.
After 10 hours you can see small sprouts from it.
Then spread it in a cloth and allow it to dry well for 4 to 5 hours.
You can either dry it under sun or fan.
Then heat a kadai and roast the dried ragi.
Roast it for 5 minutes on a low flame.
Allow it to cool completely.
Then transfer it to clean and dry mixie jar and blend it to fine powder.
Store it in a airtight container.
